As of December 15, 2021, the State Fiscal Agent, Public Consulting Group (PCG), will transition its claims clearinghouse from Change Healthcare (formerly Emdeon) to Trizetto (a Cognizant Company). The decision to transition was made due to the sunsetting of PCG’s current platform with Change Healthcare. Trizetto was chosen as PCG’s new insurance claims clearinghouse vendor due to its reputation for exceptional customer service and its connectivity to the regulated payers in New York State.
What does this mean for Early Intervention Program (EIP) Billing Providers?
Over the next several weeks, all EIP Billing Providers will receive updated prepopulated forms from Trizetto via email. These forms will include a clearinghouse change form and insurance payer enrollment and/or change forms; the specific forms will depend on your current insurance payer enrollments. Once you receive these forms, please complete and return them as soon as possible – as per the instructions provided – to meet the December 15, 2021 deadline. Please note that the forms may arrive via multiple emails. Please watch for secure emails from the insurance payers themselves or from NYSFAEIP@pcgus.com.
