Excellus is now using Envolve-New York, Inc. (Envolve-NY) to provide the utilization management function for their Child Health Plus line of business. As per Excellus, prior authorization for children with Child Health Plus policies can be obtained via fax or phone through Envolve-NY. Non-participating providers do not need to use Clear Coverage for prior authorizations.
