338- Medicaid Revalidation - Pended Claims Notice

*This is an important notice to all EI Billing Providers on Medicaid revalidation*

Medicaid revalidation is mandated under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and must be completed by Medicaid providers every five years. EI Billing Providers have already received individual written reminders from eMedNY to revalidate, although some providers have not done so. The deadline for submission of revalidation packages to eMedNY was September 25, 2016.

Starting October 27, 2016, all Medicaid claims from non-revalidating billing providers will be pended until the provider’s revalidation package is received by eMedNY. To avoid interruption of claims payment, EI Providers should revalidate immediately.
