320- Updated ICD-10 Codes in NYEIS - April 2016

Updated ICD-10 Codes in NYEIS

Dear Colleague: 

This message is in follow-up to several requests received to make additional ICD-10 Codes available in NYEIS. Attached (ICD 10 Codes Added 3-18-2016.pdf) are the additional ICD-10 codes that were recently made available in NYEIS. 

Please note that upon the initial conversion mapping from ICD-9 to ICD-10, EI Eligible conditions were mapped to corresponding ICD-10 code(s); there will be no additional ICD-10 codes added as EI Eligible Conditions at this time. If providers believe there are additional EI Eligible ICD-10 codes, providers can submit a NYEIS feature request including supporting documentation and justification for adding an EI Eligible ICD. If providers determine that there is an ICD-10 code needed in NYEIS for billing purposes, a NYEIS feature request form must be submitted and include both the code and description. Requests will be reviewed prior to being entered into NYEIS.  Please allow up to 4 weeks from the date the Feature Request Form is received for the code to be available in NYEIS.
