Statewide Infant and Toddler Conference

The conference will take place on January 12 & 13, 2015 at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel, 40 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 1-(845) 485-5300

Conference Goal: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the dyadic approach to infant development through relationship based practice involving parent-child, caregiver-child and parent-caregiver dyads. Prevention strategies will be discussed and taught. Training techniques will be highlighted. All materials will be provided as part of the registration fee.

Audience: Infant and toddler program leaders, trainers and supervisors, health care consultants, Early Intervention specialists, mental health providers, family support staff, social workers and other professionals who work with infants, toddlers and their families.

Cost is $175 for two days (one day fee for Monday is $120 and the one day fee for Tuesday is $110) includes materials and meals .

There is Financial Assistance for those who need support to attend. Scholarships are available to reimburse travel or registration costs (some financial paperwork required). Please see the scholarship application link at the bottom of the registration page. The deadline to apply for reimbursement scholarships is December 19.

Continuing Education Units: Participants who wish to obtain CEUs for this event can request a letter of verification from the sponsors. Please contact Susan Perkins at the Council on Children and Families (susan.perkins@ccf.ny.gov)
