EI-Hub Claiming Update: Special Escrow Run 10/30
Dear Colleagues,
Earlier today, the Bureau of Early Intervention announced an EI-Hub update that has enhanced the processing times for Service Logging claims. Following this update, PCG has vouchered/processed pending claims that were submitted in the EI-Hub from 10/15 to 10/30 and have sent them to Medicaid or escrow for payment. To check the status of your claims, please refer to the Billing module.
While many claims were successfully processed, some were not submitted in time for yesterday’s escrow cycle. To minimize financial impact, an additional escrow cycle is being run this evening 10/30 to ensure that all eligible claims are processed as expected, including those submitted to the EI-Hub electronically on 837 files.
As a reminder, PCG processing claims on vouchers on behalf of providers to expedite claiming was a one-time occurrence. Moving forward, providers utilizing Service Logging in the EI-Hub will be responsible for ensuring claims are vouchered. For any claims currently in ‘hold’ status in the View Hold Visits queue in Service Logging, providers must follow the steps necessary to release them and add them to a voucher to ensure processing to payers for future payment cycles (please refer to the Learning Management System for further details on Service Logging).
