Logging Providers: Update on Claims Processing
Dear Colleagues,
The Bureau of Early Intervention (BEI) acknowledges that
claims processing from the EI-Hub Service Logging component to the Case
Management component was not processing as timely as expected. On October 29,
2024, Public Consulting Group (PCG) implemented an update to enhance the
processing of service logging claims.
A number of providers have indicated that they have been
unable to create and submit vouchers for payment. The solution that PCG
implemented is expected to optimize claim processing, enabling claims
availability for placement on a voucher. In response to current circumstances
and concerns from the provider community, BEI has directed PCG to assist with a
one-time voucher generation
on behalf of providers to expedite the processing of pending claims submitted
between 10/15 and 10/30. Providers should review that status of their claims
and if any of their claims are rejected in this process, review rejection codes
and address as needed per typical adjudication processes.
BEI and PCG remain committed to ensuring payments are
processed timely. We will provide further updates as soon as they are
available.
