Dear Colleague:
Effective July 1, 2022, New York State certified school psychologists will no longer be recognized as qualified personnel in the Early Intervention Program. The attached document explains the background for this change, implementation activities that must occur prior to July 1, 2022, and upcoming activities related to the addition of 4 new professions that will be recognized as qualified personnel in the Early Intervention Program.
